This workshop is an introduction to backyard beekeeping. Our special guest Jacob Nachel, aka "the bee whisperer," will introduce honey bees and beekeeping techniques. He will teach you all you need to know to get a hive set up in your homestead garden. Learn about the lifecycles and biology of honeybees and what you can do to support more bee and insect life in your garden. See honey bee larva, eggs, workers and perhaps even to the queen up close! Chances are, you'll taste some honey, too!
